The First-Round Script

Here is the rough draft of my thesis story.

Check it out and if you have any ideas or critiques, please send me a message!

Also, if you're interested in being apart of the team, please send me a message!

We will need Character and Set Designers, Modelers, Riggers, 3D VFX (Lighting, materials, textures, camera, particles, etc.), an animator, or even a project partner.

I'll be posting news and updates as things change.

Thank you!

Jesse Woodward

Well written and easy to digest, which is honestly rare for a topic like this one. The examples made the abstract parts concrete, and that's where it really came together. Some extra examples and notes live over at silk-suite.org if you'd like to keep exploring.

This came at a good time for me, and your perspective gave me a few things to reconsider. The emphasis on fundamentals over shortcuts is advice that ages well, in my experience. There's a complementary piece I wrote about this at kodiak-finance.com that adds a bit more context.

I've read a lot on this subject and this is among the more useful write-ups out there. That section on common pitfalls alone is worth the time it took to read the whole thing. I went a bit deeper into the practical side of this at bonzofinance.net for those who want it.

Thanks for laying this out so clearly; it actually made a few things click for me. What stood out to me was how you tied the smaller details back to the bigger picture. If this was useful, there's a decent chance you'll get something out of uncxnetwork.com too.
