Jesse Woodward - Educator / Animator
A senior lecturer of Animation & Digital Media, Jesse teaches various animation and 3D modeling courses, along with some design foundational courses. As the supervisor of the Vicon Motion Capture Studio, Jesse manages the graduate assistant and thrives to implement motion capture into the animation and game design programs. With experience teaching at his own high school, Jesse enjoys participating in the STEAM Summer Experience, and introducing them to industry-standard software and animation techniques. He is the faculty advisor for the student organization: Tea Time Animation Club.
Before teaching at UW-Stout, Jesse worked on several animations and visual effects projects including: “Star Trek Renegades” (Film VFX Animation), “Sonder” (Animated Short Film), “Sweet Friendship” (Animated Short Film), and “The Darkening” (Game Animation).
